“Bridgerton” Season 4? Netflix will probably arrive in 2034 with Bridgerton Season 8

Fans will unfortunately must wait one other two years for Bridgerton season 4 after season 3 concludes, because the showrunner has confirmed that that is the present schedule. But with Bridgerton, it’s a rather different story, as there is a huge amount of source material to attract on, eight foremost books and more to be adapted.

At the moment we must always see Bridgerton Season 2 in summer/early fall 2026. But that’s 4 books, and with a complete of eight books that seem like on the two-year plan:

  • Season 4 – 2026
  • Season 5 – 2028
  • Season 6 – 2030
  • Season 7 – 2032
  • Season 8 – 2034

So that will literally take a decade to get through all eight books, and the series began in 2020, so that will be 14 years total. It’s common for series to run for eight seasons or 15 years, but within the streaming age, that will be unique. There’s no reason to think Netflix would ever cancel the series before those books are finished, because it greenlit each seasons 3 and 4 when season 2 wasn’t even out yet. So what’s 4 more seasons with that viewership?

But wait, there’s more!

Of course, there are other Bridgerton books that may be adapted. We’ve already seen this occur once with Queen Charlotte, the highest-rated season of all the series.

There are also 4 prequel books that may be adapted:

  • Book 1: Because of Miss Bridgerton
  • Book 2: The Girl with the Fantasy Husband
  • Book 3: The other Miss Bridgerton
  • Book 4: First comes the scandal

Each of those could probably be a season. They usually are not short novellas, but entire books, nearly 400 pages each. In theory, they may very well be woven in between seasons, as was the case with Queen Charlotte, a parallel timeline perhaps run by a special crew while the present showrunner worked on the foremost series. I expect that can occur. There are also standalone books just like Queen Charlotte, equivalent to The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After and a graphic novel, Miss Butterworth and the Mad Baron.

It’s just an enormous well of content to drag from, and I’m sure Netflix is fuming to adapt it, given how well the series has done and the way it’s grow to be one among their most well-known and most-watched offerings. So yes, it’s entirely conceivable that we may very well be watching Bridgerton Season 8 in a decade, and perhaps even later. Hell, she could write more books in the subsequent decade, too.
