It’s not unusual to listen to stories of individuals leaving members of the family or friends at midnight about features of their funds – bank card debt or gambling losses, for instance – and the way these issues caused problems in a relationship or inside a family.
However, sometimes there are good money secrets, a few of which have had positive effects—like a grandmother who quietly put extra cash right into a retirement account that helped pay for her expenses in her later years. Or unmentioned savings that enabled someone to go away an inheritance that benefited members of the family. We would love to listen to these stories.
