“Destiny 2” knows that Titans are evil, will improve them and further expand Prismatic

Well, I just wrote that Bungie must buff Titans in Destiny 2, reflecting the overall community opinion that they’re inferior within the Final Shape/Salvation’s Edge/Prismatic era, and now Bungie has responded.

This was during a Fireteam Chat Interview (via Game post), where Combat Area Lead Benjamin Wommack was asked the query about Titans and he said that they’re actually working on things:

“I’m not going to lie, we’re talking a lot internally about Titans right now and looking at things that aren’t just Prismatic. When we weigh all of that together, we’re definitely not done even addressing Prismatic.”

This brought up a more essential point about Prismatic, which is that they may proceed so as to add and alter things over time:

“We want to continue to expand Prismatic. This is just as important as expanding the other subclasses. It’s about the right timing and project direction for different parts. Which part of the game needs your attention the most?”

Especially for Titans, there are old but additionally latest ways by which buffs may also help them:

  • Obviously traditional subclass stat buffs like we have at all times seen, and on this case they might be for elements which might be also utilized in Prismatic.
  • Swap or add elements from Prismatic, as I can already imagine Void and Strand elements can be higher off with alternatives than what we see now.
  • More options for exotic class item perks. Titans have missed out on numerous exotic perks that might have been game-changing for prismatic synergy, and as a substitute gained numerous less essential ones.
  • Too a lot of Titan’s exotic class abilities depend on Barricade moderately than the available Thruster, which is an especially popular selection for the category. This might be a big change.

It looks as if Bungie’s plan just isn’t simply to balance Prismatic, but to really expand it, as they are saying, which might mean latest elements and fragments, specifically having greater than only one elemental subclass aspect per class in the long run. That can be immensely helpful, especially for Titans. Still, one can understand why Prismatic is perhaps even harder to balance than another subclass, given the sheer amount of originally unintended mixtures and duplicate exotic perks.

I actually hope the Titan buffs come sooner moderately than later, because while I’m having fun with the one benefit of my current construct, the Exotic Rocket Chest, every part else clearly needs a variety of work.
