In 2024, identity fraud was considered one of the three most reported fraud types in Canada, in accordance with the Canadian Anti-Fraud Center (CAFC). In order to assist the Canadian to guard ourselves, we asked Carl Davies, fraud and identity at Equifax Canada, to elucidate how identity fraud works and the way they’ll prevent.
