Adobe Shares rose 15% in prolonged trading Thursday after the design software maker reported earnings and revenue that beat estimates.
Here’s how the corporate performed in comparison with the LSEG consensus:
- Earnings per share: Adjusted to $4.48, versus $4.39 expected
- Revenue: $5.31 billion in comparison with expected $5.29 billion
According to a study, Adobe’s revenue increased 10% year-over-year within the quarter ended May 31. opinion.
The company expected third-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $4.50 to $4.55 and revenue of $5.33 billion to $5.38 billion. Analysts surveyed by LSEG expected adjusted earnings per share of $4.48 and revenue of $5.4 billion.
Adobe raised its full-year forecast, predicting adjusted earnings per share of between $18.00 and $18.20 and revenue of $21.40 billion to $21.50 billion. Analysts surveyed by LSEG had forecast adjusted earnings per share of $18.02 and revenue of $21.46 billion. The forecast March Adjusted earnings per share were $17.60 to $18.00, with revenues starting from $21.30 to $21.50 billion.
In recent weeks, software competitors SentinelOne, UiPath and Veeva have lowered their full-year revenue forecasts, citing economic weakness and company interest in developing artificial intelligence.
During the quarter announced the provision of a service to fine-tune the corporate’s Firefly generative artificial intelligence models to deliver image content that aligns with clients’ brand guidelines.
Before Adobe released its statement on Thursday, its stock price had fallen 23 percent thus far this yr, while the S&P 500 index had risen about 14 percent.
