Apple supplier Foxconn reports a 9% decline in first-quarter sales

Apple iPhone maker Foxconn on Friday recorded a decline of 9.6% Increase in sales in the primary quarter of 2024 in comparison with the identical period last 12 months.

The company acting as Hon Hai precision industry in Taiwan, recorded sales in the primary quarter of 1.32 trillion recent Taiwan dollars (US$41.2 billion), which was also 28.58% lower in comparison with the fourth quarter of last 12 months. It also fell in need of economists’ expectations in an LSEG survey.

However, the corporate expects sales to extend within the second quarter, though it “remains a traditional low season.”
