Cards Against Humanity is suing Elon Musk’s SpaceX

The maker of the favored party game Cards Against Humanity accuses Elon Musk’s SpaceX of trespassing and damaging the corporate’s undeveloped property in Texas.

In a lawsuit filed this week in a Texas court, Cards Against Humanity claims that SpaceX has essentially treated the gaming company’s property – situated in Cameron County – as its own for not less than six months.

The lawsuit alleges that SpaceX, which had previously acquired other properties near the positioning, dumped construction materials reminiscent of gravel and other debris on the land without asking permission.

SpaceX didn’t immediately reply to a request for comment.

Cards Against Humanity, based in Chicago, had the property was purchased in 2017 It was said to be partly a ploy to counter former President Donald Trump’s efforts to construct a border wall.

The company said 150,000 people contributed $15 each to the campaign.

According to Cards Against Humanity, the land has been preserved in its natural state over time and there was a “No Trespassing” sign posted to warn those that they were about to enter private property.

The company is looking for $15 million in damages, which it says include the lack of vegetation on the property.
