Add silver coins to the strange collection of branded knick-knacks that Donald Trump sells to his supporters.
The former president announced Saturday that he’s selling “Trump Coins” together with his face on them to his supporters for $100 a bit. The announcement follows the sale of Trump sneakers and “God Bless the USA” Bibles, each of which were available earlier this 12 months.
“Trump coins are designed by me and minted here in the USA,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social. “This beautiful limited edition coin commemorates our movement, our fight for freedom, prosperity and putting America first.”
The front of the coin features Trump’s face. The reverse features the White House. The coins themselves are 1.6 inches tall and consist of a “1oz .999% silver medallion.”
This signifies that the worth of the dear metal within the coin is just 30 dollars.

According to the web site where the coins are sold, coins can’t be returned and orders can’t be cancelled. The website also states: “The coins are intended as collectibles for personal enjoyment only and not as investment objects. The coins are not political and have nothing to do with political campaigns.”
Coins are the newest in a series of products Trump is selling. In July, a Trump-owned company began selling $299 sneakers featuring an image of him covered in blood after an assassination attempt. These were nothing just like the $399 gold sneakers he unveiled at Sneaker Con in February.
Two years ago, he launched an NFT trading card collection. And in March, he began selling patriotic Bibles for $60, including a duplicate of the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and Pledge of Allegiance. And just last week, he unveiled the crypto token World Liberty Financial, though details are still unclear.
