Estee Lauder Forecast annual profit and revenue were below estimates as the worldwide cosmetics market struggles with slowing demand, particularly within the Chinese market, and CEO Fabrizio Freda retired after nearly 16 years on the helm.

Freda, 66, who will retire on June 30, 2025, was appointed CEO in 2009 and was accountable for expanding the corporate’s skincare portfolio by adding brands akin to Dr. Jart and The Ordinary owner Deciem.
