Wilbert Das, former creative director of fashion label Diesel, opened the UXUA Casa Hotel in Trancoso, Brazil, in 2009. It has strong eco-chic credentials. This limited edition sunglasses ($375), are made in Trancoso by UXUA artist-in-residence Mark Inglis, and mix three several types of reclaimed wood and sustainably sourced buffalo bone with lenses from German manufacturer Zeis.
