In each of those, we assigned three points based on publicly available data:
- The yield assessment reflects each the present dividend yield and the expansion of the dividend during the last five years.
- The stability assessment Considers corporate debt ratios, return on equity, five-year earnings growth and the ratio of earnings per share to dividends.
- The review rating takes into consideration the stock’s earnings yield (the inverse of price-to-sales ratio) and price-to-books value.
We then added all three scores together to find out each stock’s overall rating, allowing each stock’s return and stability scores to be weighted and given a 20% weighting for the rating. The data used to value the securities was collected and current as of November 29, 2024.

Note that this system doesn’t bear in mind all features of a stock’s suitability to your portfolio. It doesn’t bear in mind aspects corresponding to the standard of an organization’s management, brand equity, or whether the corporate has a competitive “moat.” These best dividend stocks we have identified needs to be a start line for further due diligence.
