The famous Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will close for good on July 17, but gambling fans have one last probability to hit the massive win before the shiny doors close perpetually.
Since July 9, the Mirage has donated over $1.6 million in money as a part of a promotion called “Cash prize draw on the Progressive Finale” in order that the casino pays out its jackpots before closing, as required by Nevada gaming regulations.

Through July 16, guests can win as much as $1.2 million on slot machines and $400,000 on table games.
But videos on social media show that the raffle goes in addition to one would expect. Excited players flocked to the casino to get a bit of the pie, resulting in chaos and a number of other fights contained in the casino.

Accordingly Vital VegasThe Mirage had only 400 machines in operation on Friday afternoon and had turned off all other machines to “finish calculating the progressive meters and check the numbers so that all the money can be paid out properly.”
The Mirage, a part of the Wynn brand, opened in 1989 and was considered one of the primary luxury resorts on the Strip. It was also the unique home of the Siegfried & Roy Show.

The hotel announced in May that it will close this summer. It can be renamed Hard Rock Las Vegas and the corporate pays $80 million in severance pay to laid-off Mirage employees.
“Over the next two months, we will say goodbye to this iconic and historic property and then begin an incredible transformation,” said a press release sent to the Mirage’s official address. Facebook site was what was written on the time. “We would like to thank all the team members at the Mirage for their incredible dedication and for helping us provide our guests with unforgettable experiences.”
