New resorts mean impressive growth for travel and tourism.

Despite the plethora of daunting challenges the hotel industry has faced in recent times, the World Council on Travel and Tourism predicts 2024 will probably be a record 12 months for travel and tourism, with the sector’s global economic contribution reaching an all-time high of $11.1 trillion. According to the worldwide tourism organization’s 2024 Economic Impact Research, the travel and tourism industry will contribute an extra $770 billion in comparison with its previous record, cementing its status as a worldwide economic engine, with one in ten U.S. dollars generated worldwide. As the worldwide sector exceeds its pre-pandemic prosperity, 142 out of 185 countries are expected to surpass previous national records.

Cameron House, the five-star resort on Loch Lomond, Scotland, opened La Vista, a brand latest restaurant. La Vista serves authentic Italian cuisine and offers panoramic lake views. The menu is split into small aperitivo plates and cicchetti, larger fundamental courses, handmade pastas and wood-fired pizzas from the Valoriani oven.

Opening March 27, The Rockley on Barbados’ south coast brings local vibes and a hip latest hotel experience to the Rockley Beach area known for its energetic bars, world-class restaurants and authentic island experiences.
