Are you in search of Wordle Friday clues, hints and answers? You can find them here:
It’s Saturday and I’m sick. I felt like I used to be fighting an infection all week, slept greater than usual, was still drained and a bit sore. But on Thursday I managed to do some hot yoga and a HIIT workout from OrangeTheory and thought I had nailed whatever it was.
Then I woke up early on Friday morning with a sore throat and stuffy nose and realized that my first bad cold of the yr was on the very best weekend of the yr. It’s beautiful outside and I’m a sniffling, aching, exhausted mess. Woe is me! I would like to complain much more! Nothing is more fun than feeling sorry for yourself!
I’m not too sick of Wordle, that is obviously. So let’s get this done.

Word evaluation
Every day I check Wordle Bot to see how I’m doing. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot exactly here.
It’s 4/20 so I feel today’s Wordle may be a bit. . . ironic? This could also be a coincidence, but it surely’s still funny. I picked REBEL because I just wrote a review of the insanely terrible recent Zack Snyder movie. Rebel Moon Part 2, and REBEL went through my head. I used to be left with a whopping 261 words. CLOUT reduced the worth to only 5, after which I made the lucky guess. I actually selected LUCID because a few of the words I got here up with (including LUCKY) had an “L” in them and I just got lucky.
Competitive Wordle Score
I get 1 point for guessing three and nil for tying the bot. 1 point! Huzzah!
How to Play Competitive Wordle
Guessing 1 is value 3 points; guessing 2 is value 2 points; guessing 3 is value 1 point; guessing 4 is value 0 points; guessing in 5 is -1 points; Guessing on 6 is -2 points and missing the wordle is -3 points.
If you beat your opponent you get 1 point. If there’s a tie you get 0 points. And in case you lose to your opponent, you get -1 point. Add it as much as get your rating. Keep a each day running rating or just play for a brand new rating on daily basis.
Today’s Wordle etymology
The word “lucid” comes from the Latin word “lucidus” and means “bright, bright, clear”. This in turn is derived from “lux”, the Latin word for “light”. The meaning of “clear” in English, as utilized in “lucid explanation” or “lucid dreaming” (where one has a transparent awareness of dreaming), dates back to the late sixteenth century. The term clarity refers metaphorically to brightness or light that illuminates things and makes them visible and comprehensible. Therefore, “clear” in each the literal and figurative senses refers to something that is simple to grasp or clear in thought and expression.
